Hobart High School was building a new natatorium. This type of facility required the building’s structural steel to be protected from high humidity with a moisture-resistant specialty coating.
First, all of the structural steel required for the project was delivered to the N.A. Logan shop from a steel fabrication shop. Our crew began by sandblasting the steel to remove any debris and oils from its surface and create a profile that was ready to receive the specified specialty coating. After the surface of the steel was ready for application, N.A. Logan applied a Moisture-Cured Urethane Zinc-Rich Primer. Following completion, the team properly loaded the structural steel onto the truck beds while using vinyl straps and blocking to prevent any damage that might occur to the primed structural steel during transport, delivery, and unloading.
N.A. Logan completed the project with the highest quality when it came to both supplies and workmanship. The utmost care was taken to load the deliverables and ensure they reached the high school in top condition.
